I have been consistently shooting with Emily since I was 15 years old so it was an absolute no brainer that my fiancé and I wanted her to be apart of our proposal, engagement shoot and now wedding day. When I first brought my fiancé to a photo shoot with me, he wasn’t the picture-taking type. Now, Emily has him so comfortable in front of the camera, he’s always wanting our pictures taken. 
When you first meet Emily, she makes you feel like you’ve been best friends your whole life. Any nerves you feel will be immediately melted away the second you get in front of the camera with her bubbly personality and amazing direction. She will tell you everything you need to know to have a successful shoot and won’t stop until it’s perfect!! She listened to our ideas for our engagement session and brought them to life in her own creative way while still allowing them to be personalized to us. The thought and consideration she puts into her clients and their ideas is unmatched and so hard to find.

All of my favorite photos of me have been taken by Emily over the last seven years, so I knew as soon as I was engaged I wanted her to take our photos. Not only did she do my hair and makeup, but she styled me from her client closet and coordinated my fiance’s outfits to match. Emily took her time to truly understand our vision, and she 100% brought our ideas to life. I was ASTOUNDED when she personalized our shoot with a guitar because she knows how much my fiance loves music! She does so much research to give all her clients the best shoot perfectly personalized to the couple, and she exceeded any expectations of how we thought our photos would turn out. Plus, we had such a fun time taking the photos with her charismatic personality behind the camera. All of our smiles and laughs are so genuine, and Zach had the best time ever! I highly recommend using her for your couple or engagement shoot!

We were so happy to have Emily as our photographer. Not only did we have someone so amazing to photograph our wedding, but we also gained a new friend! We loved meeting her last year and had a BLAST at our engagement shoot. We chatted and got to know each other as Emily did my makeup for the photos, & her client closet was such a bonus - I felt so beautiful! That was so amazing. We have never had professional photos done before, but Emily made us feel so comfortable and it was so easy with her! Because of the engagement photos, we were already so comfortable and ready for wedding day. I wouldn’t have wanted anybody else to shoot our wedding. We love Emily and LOVE our photos!!!

Having worked with photographers around the country for many years, Emily is unquestionably my favorite. When I wanted to ask my now fiancé Lacey to marry me, I knew Emily was who I wanted to capture the moment. As always, she went above and beyond expectation. The photographs were everything I hoped them to be and more. She helped set the stage, plan the event, and capture what now is one of my most cherished memories. Lacey and I love looking back on those special moments and I know when our wedding day comes we’ll look to Emily to create yet another seamless and memorable day.  My engagement day took a lot of planning in order to have everyone where they needed to be, exactly when they needed to be there. Though the weather took a turn for the worst, Emily was quick to come up with solutions and very prepared to make sure that in the end, we’d capture moments that would bring a smile to our face. I’m thankful for all of the wonderful photos Emily has captured during some of the most important times in my life. I’m thankful for how easy it felt creating them and for someone I now can call a friend.

When I got engaged and planned a trip home for the weekend, I knew that I needed to have Emily capture our engagement pictures! Emily was incredibly accommodating when we needed to navigate a last minute rescheduling of the shoot due to bad weather. Emily guided us through the shoot step by step and made sure that my fiancé was completely comfortable while in front of the camera. Both my fiancé and I had a blast and you can see from the pictures that we were enjoying ourselves! I am so happy that Emily was able to make our dreams come true by capturing Chicago’s fall colors so beautifully for our engagement pictures!

Choosing Emily was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding and engagement pictures. She made the process so easy and made sure that we looked our best while still being ourselves. We typically can't stand having our pictures taken, but Emily made it feel like we were just hanging out with a close friend the whole time. The pictures really do speak for themselves! She captured the day and our relationship perfectly! If you are looking for a photographer, you won't find anyone better than Emily!

When we got engaged we knew we wanted the photos of our wedding and engagement shoot to be amazing. These were the pictures that we would look back at one day and show our grandchildren. So we were really really picky about who we selected. Right away we loved Emily! Emily’s work (Artur’s too) was amazing. It was our style and we were so excited to meet them. After our first phone conversation, we knew our engagement photos were going to be special. To say we were pumped for our session is an understatement. When it came time for our session, it seemed like we already knew Emily and Artur beforehand. Our entire session was filled with laughter!! Everything felt natural. No pressure of posing a certain way or making sure every photo was perfect. We all had so much fun together & it was definitely captured in our photos. We shot for like 2 hours & it went by so quickly. Eric and myself left so happy and could not wait for our wedding day. Once we got the photos, we literally spent 2 hours looking through them! Each sharing which ones were our favorites or at least tried to guess. We love our photos so much and appreciate the art and skill that went into making them. We used Emily for our engagement pictures and we absolutely LOVE them! Emily was so accommodating and did our hair, make up, and even provided the cutest outfits for my fiance, Abigail, and I. Emily and Artur made us feel so comfortable and like ourselves the entire session. As two women who are not used to being in front of cameras, we had a blast and were sad when our session was over. Our save the dates and wedding invites turned out more beautiful than we could have expected thanks to Emily's amazing work. We loved our experience so much. We truly cannot rave about her enough!!
