This two part blog series will cover all items that I’ve used time and time again on both clients & myself! They are tried and true and will not disappoint! I love providing the full experience of makeup and hairstyling to my clients knowing that they will leave the chair feeling beautiful and confident for their portraits.

Tatcha The Water Cream – for oily skin types – Love this oil-free, yet deeply hydrating cream!  Won’t leave you with sticky, greasy skin, but still acts as a deep treatment leaving you with maximum radiance and that subtle, youthful glow. Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream – for intense hydration for dry skin – I use before makeup application and it is a great product for firming and plumping skin. Although it is ideal for those with dry skin, it can be used as a combination serum for those babes who prefer a richer texture.

Anastasia Beverley Hills Face oil – This face oil is perfect for extra hydration for those with severely dry skin, especially when used before makeup. Try massaging a few drops into your face and neck in the morning and at night for that extra supple, sexy skin!

Belief Peat Miracle Revital Eye Cream – Ok, ladies, we all want to reduce our fine lines and wrinkles, right?! This eye cream is AMAZING! Visibly improves elasticity and helps to regenerate dull skin. I call that a win-win!

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask – This leave-on overnight lip mask will help you get rid of those dry flakes and leave your lips feeling smooth as it delivers moisture and antioxidants. This is a lifesaver, especially in the colder, winter months when chapped lips are more common! 

Top Makeup Products of 2021 | Part One

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer – I love a silicone-based primer! I’ve tried many different types of primers over the years and this is still hands down my favorite tried and true! Layer this over your moisturizer and voila -you’ve got a glam photo finish!

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – A beautiful foundation for our dry babes out there! It is luminous which helps us look more hydrated, it’s lightweight, and it looks like your skin while still having buildable coverage! This foundation is BEAUTIFUL! 

Stay Naked Foundation, Urban Decay – This lightweight and natural-looking foundation is ideal for our combo or more oily friends! This has a semi-matte finish, helping control oil while not being totally matte!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation – This is for the oily girls who need that matte finish! This is going to be your best friend, and give you the coverage you want with little to no foundation breakup! 

Fenty Foundation is another great option that won’t clog your pores. It is super lightweight, and as an added bonus, it’s sweat-resistant! You can head to the gym or go for that hike and this baby will keep you covered!

Auric Glow Lust – This is a liquid highlighter that I mix into my foundations to give that “glow from within” look to the skin! It is GORGEOUS! 

Concealers, Bronzers, and Blush, OH My!  

Nars Radiant concealer – I am obsessed with this product! It comes in an array of colors for all my beautiful ladies out there! You can also get it in a travel size, which is perfect for all my fellow travel lovers out there! 

Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder – This is one of the best translucent powders out there! Light and loose, it’s the perfect way to set your foundation!

Jaclyn Cosmetics Beaming Mood light Luminous Powder – I mix this with the hourglass powder to add/keep some of that luminosity back to the skin!

KVD Contour Kit – forever my favorite contour kit, has been a staple for YEARS! Love, love,  LOVE the removable magnetic pans! Go ahead and refill to customize your ideal palette!

Marc Jacobs O!MEGA BRONZER – my favorite bronzer EVER! Has a beautiful matte finish so it keeps your skin looking radiant, but not shiny or sparkly.

Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette – This 6 pan palette contains the most beautiful and long-lasting blushes I have ever used! It is made up of one shimmer blush that goes with any skin tone and 5 matte blushes!

Highlighters 

Kylie Cosmetics – The Wet Set – A cream-like highlighting formula that is stunning on the cheeks! – Not for the faint of heart as this highlighter will really pop on your skin! Such a soft texture and is the perfect buildable highlight! Unfortunately, this is not currently available, but dupes for these can be found here! 

Anastasia Beverley Hills Iced Out Highlighter & Sugar Glow Kit are also staple highlighters in my kit! GORGEOUS shimmer and there’s a color for EVERY skin tone!

Eye Shadows

Lorac Pro Eyeshadow Palette – MEGA PRO 3 – I use this palette ALL the time for weddings, proms, and more mauve-toned looks. I have repurchased it 6 times since 2016 when it was released! I pair it with Anastasia Beverly Hills single shadow, Pink Champagne and it is one of my most loved looks! MEGA PRO is not currently available, but the Pink Champagne Single Shadow is still available from ABH! 

Anastasia Beverley Hills, Soft Glam Eyeshadow Pallet – This is AMAZING for going from day to night! Meeting at the office? Girl’s night on the town? Done and done! With 14 different shades to choose from, this pallet makes it easy for you to slip between worlds.
