These Wilmette engagement portraits were exceptional! These two are truly some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and it was such an honor to capture their engagement and soon-to-be wedding! They were a referral from one of my favorite longtime clients—turns out the groom is the brother of one of my past grooms—and from the moment we met, they felt like family. High school sweethearts who’ve been together for over 10 years, their love is so genuine and radiating. We started their session at the beautiful Michigan Shores Club in Wilmette, IL, and ended the day on the beautiful shores of Wilmette Beach—where they’ll soon be saying “I do!” I got to do her hair and makeup at her mom’s house, which made everything feel even more personal and special. Some sweet family members helped out throughout the shoot, and despite the wind, the photos turned out absolutely stunning. I absolutely can’t wait for their wedding day—it’s going to be amazing!
