These Winnetka engagement portraits were truly something special! Lauren and her fiancé came into town for a couple of months in September to plan their upcoming wedding, and we decided it would be the perfect opportunity to capture this exciting time in their lives with an engagement session. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect—we were gifted with a warm, clear afternoon that felt straight out of a movie. One of my favorite parts of the day was Lauren’s gorgeous yellow dress. It instantly reminded me of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days! The goldenrods were in full bloom as well, adding vibrance that made the whole shoot feel even more magical. We wandered through some of my favorite spots in the Winnetka area, which offered the perfect mix of elegance and natural beauty. Having known Lauren for so many years, this session felt incredibly personal and meaningful to me. It was such an honor to capture these moments for a couple so clearly in love and excited for their future together.
